The FleetTrack system aims to solve the following problems:

  • Provide real-time location tracking of college buses.
  • Help students find the current location of their bus.
  • Help students decide whether they can catch the bus at the next stop if they miss it.
  • Reduce unnecessary waiting time at bus stops.
  • Provide digital access to daily bus and route allocation.
  • Reduce crowds around physical bus charts/notice boards.
  • Reduce the need for students to leave classes to check or reserve bus seats.
  • Eliminate the need for additional GPS tracking hardware by utilizing students' mobile GPS.
  • Improve the overall convenience and efficiency of college transportation.
